The Exchange Program
National School of Business has signed an agreement with ESC-Pau, France, and University of Deusto, Spain to facilitate student and faculty exchange programs. As of now, more than 100 students and many professors from India have taken advantage of these exchange programs.

National School of Business regularly conducts experiential and adventure learning programs to give students the opportunity to go through dynamic learning process and instill in them the confidence to solve real life problems successfully.

I was always afraid of adventure. But the adventure program conducted by National School of Business has made me a different person. The program, which was conducted by the School in association with professionals in adventure learning, was an amazing experience; it made me fearless and taught me wonderful lessons for life. The activities such as rappelling, jumering, dry river crossing and river rafting are just unforgettable.

Uma, IV Sem
For my internship, I worked as a marketing executive for branding and advertising at Aspect Professional Consultancy for three months. The job profile involved putting up shops, conducting events and increasing footfalls at Sigma Mall.
 
Laptop for all students
Every student will be provided with a complimentory laptop on enrolment. The student can retain it even after the program. National School of Business belives that Laptop is an essential tool for students in the management program. Laptops not only enable adoption of technology in learning management concepts but enable students to conduct online reserach on any given topic either in the school or in the hostel. In fact, many of the courses involve extensive online research.
Industrial Visits on regular basis to leading companies
Students are taken to industrial visits on regular basis to understand production process and business practices. Many concepts in management are well demonstrated and explained only "on-site". Moreover, seeing is believing. The students of National School of Business visit many MNCs every year. Some of the companies visited most frequently by the students include: Coca-cola, Britania, Tata Coffee Works, L&T Komatsu, Parle, HMT, Mysore Soaps and Detergents Ltd. and so on.
Student Consulting Projects to provide hands-on experience
In consulting projects, a group of students act as consultants to solve real-time business problems in an organization. National School of Business offers confidential business assistance to local companies for a small consultation fee. This program is specifically designed for small and mid sized companies in Bangalore, which do not have the resources to perform or pay for these services.
National School firmly believes that a successful client engagement requires the client and student team work in close partnership. To this end, National School strives to match the business needs of the companies with the interests and qualifications of the students. Not only does the business get valuable advice, but also student consultants gain valuable business experiences during the process.
Group Health Insurance to cover medical emergencies
All students admitted to National School of Business are automatically enrolled to group health insurance. This will help students in case of medical emergency.Students to National School of Business come from various parts of India and the world and it is always important for them to guard themselves against any unexpected health issues or accidents. This initiative is aimed at helping students keep themselves updated with the developments in the areas of Economics and Business on day-to-day basis. This also helps students prepare themselves for the everyday "Busienss News" event at the college. Membership to ET club also enable students to take advantage of many Business quizzes, seminars and lectures conducted by the Economi Times.
Promoting Entrepreneurship
DISHA, an exclusive cell established by National School of Business for promoting entrepreneurship among students. The cell nurtures and nourishes entrepreneurship ideas among students. The faculty members help the students in identifying market opportunities, screening ideas and developing viable business models. They also bring the students in contact with venture capitalists and help the students in seeking venture capital funding.
