Good morning Mr. Sridhara Murthy! Could you please introduce yourself and talk to us about the key values of your School ?

Greetings! I am the Principal Director of National School of Business, Bangalore. National School of Business is one of the prominent upcoming business schools in Bangalore. The school is ranked among top 5% of B-schools in India and is in the A++ Category.
Our tag line is “We make you more valuable”. Everything that we do at National School of Business is aimed at making our students more valuable. We strive to achieve our promise by focusing on building Competence and Character in students. Hands-on approach to learning, Global exposure, contemporary curriculum, Best-in-Class faculty, Innovative teaching methodology are the hallmarks of our program.
Together we have created a partnership between NSB India and ESC Pau - could you please tell us something about the interconnections that result from such an agreement?
This agreement essentially involves exchange of students & professors, Joint Academic Programs, Sharing of knowledge database between the institutions and the Training and development of our Staff. The institutions can also collaborate on the issues of academic standards and quality assurance.
According to you, how can the partnership between our two institutions encourage the internationalisation of our programmes?
In fact, internationalization of our programs is the essence of this cooperation. This interconnection will help both the institutions to develop capabilities and appropriate competitive environment in the management education. It will also help us enhance cultural activities for the academic community with the external world.
The exchange students bring immense wealth of multicultural perspective to learning and globalize the learning environment. Professors from across the border will bring different points-of-views, innovative methodologies and latest knowledge to the student communities in both the countries. Joint research would trigger opportunities for cross-country analysis and helps foster a strong scientific cooperation between research groups.
Some of your students are currently enrolled on the MBA programme at ESC Pau - have you had any feedback yet? Are your students pleased with their programme of study and life in general in Pau ?
Yes! Of course, our students are very positive about the program and the place. The professors at ESC-PAU who teach our students are truly international and bring wealth of knowledge from across the borders. The staff are very kind and whole-heartedly help our students settle well.
My students tell me that they love Pau City as well. Pau has all the attractions of a large city but still maintains the cozy atmosphere for studies. People of Pau are very warm and welcoming. This makes life easy for our students.
Our French students will be leaving very shortly for India to your institution. What do you think will be the main challenges for them?
Actually there is none! I do not foresee any challenges for French students in India. But yes, I do expect them to be surprised by myriad of things. Asia is far different from Europe in many ways.
National School of Business has a good experience handling the international students, especially the French students. So, our administration will help students get over the cultural shock, if any, very quickly. In fact, students acclimatize so well that many of them seek extended study or internship after their studies.
On the lighter side, If there is any challenge, it can be the wild traffic of Bangalore and the spice level of Indian food!
