The ESC-Pau Auditorium was packed with Parents, Faculty and Students, and representatives from chambers and Industry. When Mr. Raghavaiah said Bonjour France, Namasthe France, the audience enthusiastically acknowledged the greetings. In his address, Mr. Raghavaiah emphasized about the importance of the Graduation Ceremony in the lives of Students. It is a celebration time for the individual and family, because it is successful completion of something significant. It is like Coronation – “Crowning for responsibility” from the societal perspective. Organisations and Society await the young managers to play their significant roles in building stronger organizations and a vibrant and healthy society. Mr.Raghavaiah touched upon Mega Trends of Globalisation, it’s implications for Organisations and Managers and advised the students to step into the world with hope, confidence and a sense of preparedness. He wished the students to become successful Entrepreneurs, Managers and Leaders. He exhorted them to pursue the concept of “Triple Bottomline” for themselves, just as organizations are adopting it – ie. Economic – Creating Wealth for themselves, Social- maintaining harmonious relationships in family, at work place and in society; and Ecological – taking good care of Body, Mind Soul at an individual level and working for a healthy planet at a bigger level. This occasion comes closely following the launch of International MBA at National School of Business in collaboration with ESC-Pau, and coincided with India celebrating 200 years of its friendship with France.
