By joining National School of Business, I have satisfied my hunger for global exposure and multicultural learning. I am proud of what happened to me and one of the biggest days was when our group won 3rd Position in IBM-SMART CITY National Competition held in France. |
|
SMART CITY is project undertaken by IBM to redefine the cities in the world in a smarter way and make them eco-friendly. IBM had announced the competition in all the business schools regarding the project based on five focus points-energy, education, health, transport, citizenship. We a group of 3 members-Krishna Kiran, Prasanna Kumar, Luana have chosen the path of citizenship and worked on this as we believed that the people are center for any change or revolution to bring. |
|
This keenly fought contest was rated by employees of IBM and they voted us the 3rd best idea for the smarter city. Our group was invited to Paris to receive the honor. It was really great being with great personalities like Alan Benichou, The president of IB, France, Nathalie Lambeaux, The Marketing Director of IBM, France and other higher officials. We made a presentation in IBM conference hall and we participated in the discussion with the executives over there. They were so impressed that they were even interested in implementing our project. As a part of prize, we had a free trip in Paris and a cash prize from IBM. I feel proud to be a part of this prestigious IBM-SMART CITY project and happy that my dream came true. |

| National School of Business students surfing in France. |
