By joining National School of Business, I have satisfied my hunger for global exposure and multicultural learning. I am now a proud member of ESC-PAU, France, student fraternity and part of its endeavors. I am proud of what happened to me and one of the biggest days was when our group won 3rd Position in IBM-SMART CITY National Competition held in France.

Prof. K.V. Raghavaiah (Chairman, Governing Council) and Prof. Sridhara Murthy (Principal Director) of National School of Business visited The Nottingham University School of Business on March 11, 2010 to explore the possibility of signed an MOU facilitating Exchange of students between NSB and Nottingham University School of Business. The NSB officials met Dr. Alistaire Bruce ( Director of Research) and Dr. James Devlin and had a lengthy discussion about the possible exchange.

Nottingham University Business school is one of the premier Business Schools in UK and is Ranked among the Top 100 MBA program Programs in the world.

Scène insolite, hier après-midi, à la plage Marbella où 60 étudiants indiens ont appris les rudiments du surf, avec Mathieu Cerramon et son équipe. Ces Indiens viennent de l'École de commerce nationale de Bangalore et sont en ce moment à Pau dans le cadre d'un partenariat avec l'École supérieure de commerce (ESC) de la cité béarnaise. Cette initiation s'est déroulée sous le soleil et de grands rires, les Indiens étant plus à l'aise pour improviser des figures dansées dignes de Bollywood que pour se tenir en équilibre sur une planche de surf ! A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between National School of Business and the country’s Rank No. 2 Univeristy, Bharathiar University (BU), on June 12, 2009. This will facilitate the NSB to offer the regular MBA degree of BU, at Bangalore.

Deusto University, located in the most picturesque city- San Sebastien, Spain, has agreed to admit the students of NSB on Exchange program.

Six students from ESCPAU, France arrived at NSB under NSB-ESCPAU Student Exchange Program. These students – FRAISSE Pierre Emmanuel, MARTINS Jessica, RICHIEU Francois, ENDERSBY Carolyn, BERTRAND Thibault and MOULLAN Ibrahim – will attend the 10-week autonomous PGPM classes as a value added concurrent PG degree (PGPM) along with the regular PG degree from ESCPAU.

It is a matter of Great Honour and Delight for National School of Business that Our Chairman, Governing Council Mr. K.V. Raghavaiah, delivered the Graduation Ceremony Address at ESC-Pau on 21st November 2009.

Prof A V Rao of National School of Business was awarded with Doctor of Philosophy degree by Sri Krishnadevaraya University on 11th November 2009, for his research work on “Retail Industry”. He pursued his career in retail for 23 years spread across various industries like Paper, Chemicals, Electronics etc. in India. He also served as General Manager taking care of the operations of a Swedish venture in Kenya looking after both Manufacturing and Marketing operations of East Africa.

National School of Business known for its quality education is been rated as A++ Category B School and listed among top 100 B Schools of India as per Just Careers Magazine Rating.

National School of Business achieves 100% internship record for the year 2009 for all the students. More than 40 companies participated and offered internships to our students few of them are Videocon, Future Group, TCS, Lifestyle, L&T, Shoppers Stop, IDBI Bank, Axis Bank, Titan, Kingfisher, Way2Wealth, HDFC Securities etc. The average stipend offered to our students was 3000 and highest being Rs.15000 PM. Many students were also offered pre placement offers followed by their internships.

Prof. Sridhara Murthy S R & Prof. Venkatesh A A participate in EEC Course organized by National Entrepreneurship Network. This training enables them to get certified by National Entrepreneurship Network. Currently, these professors are involved in motivating students to form a entrepreneurship cell called ‘DISHA’ which will help scores of students who are planning to set up their own businesses.

A bath of 22 students selected by National School of Business completed their Foundation Course at NSB and will complete their core courses in ESC Pau, France. This twinning program is one of the unique programs offered by NSB in association with ESC Pau France which ranked No 14 in Europe.

A batch of selected students namely Saranya, Sindhu Prasad,Prasanna Kumar M V,T Mahesh,Krsihna,Musukula Nikhil,Harsih, are in France for next 6 months completing their 1 semester study as part of free Exchange program offered at National School of Business.

Prof. Sridhara Murthy was recently invited by the University of Deutso in San Sebastian to address the students on the emerging opportunities in Asia and to deliberate on Breakthrough Products. Prof. Sridhara Murthy lectures were very well received and the students rated his lectures very high.

The Memorandum of Academic Cooperation will be signed between National School of Business and The University of Nottingham Business School to facilitate student and faculty exchange between these two premier institutions. This would create opportunities for many students and scholars to learn and perform in a multicultural environment. Prof. K.V. Raghavaiah and Prof. Sridhara Murthy will represent National School of Business in the signing ceremony to take place in Nottingham on March 11, 2010.

At least 100 students are slated to visit Europe and South East Asian Countries during May 2010 on Global Mindset Trail. This business tour is aimed at providing global exposure to the students as a part of the curriculum. Students are expected to visit many world-class companies like Airbus, Mercedes-benz, Arcelor-Mittal steel plant and so on.

National School of Business is committed to providing opportunities for leadership to students in various activities. As a part of its planned activity, National School of Business will hold “Activity WeeK” during the Month of May . The Activity week will see Sports activities, Cultural Activities, Inter-collegiate Management Festival and the Convocation for the passing out class of students.

Prof. Sridhara Murthy has been invited to teach Global Marketing Course to the students of St. Mary’s MBA program in Bangkok, one of the prestigious program co-delivered by St. Mary’s University, UK and the Mountbatten Institute, USA. Many students from across the globe will participate in this program.
