What I would like to appreciate most about NSB is that it has a genuine goal to groom world-class entrepreneurs and managers. It is really a great experience teaching at NSB. The students are cordial and energetic. They have a high level of motivation and are eager to experiment and learn. Every session that I take here add great value to shaping the teacher in me. I look forward to continue my association with NSB.
I have worked closely with the management team and faculty of NSB since 2008. I am impressed by the vision and energy of Prof. S.R Sridharamurthy and the true meaning he gives to the word ‘education’ through the care provided to the NSB students. I can see good opportunities for NSB in the higher education sector, if the institute’s ability to forge deep and meaningful relationships with international partners materializes even further.
NSB is a caring institution and has a great zeal to give the best to its students. The commitment of the president and his team is clearly visible in every action of NSB. The school has excellent infrastructure and is conducive to quality academic process. It has a very supporting administrative and academic team. It is a pleasure to be associated with National School of Business.
Excellence and Ethics are the key drivers of NSB. The vision of Prof. S.R Sridharamurthy is very clear. NSB shares the same values that we share in ESC-Pau. The student is in the center of the pedagogical process. The professors are focused to make him successful from a personal and a professional perspective in order to increase his
employability. As a balanced human being, he is aware of his role towards the society and its social issues.
From my part, I really enjoy to work with all the NSB professors and I feel particularly happy to teach Indian and French students, all together in the same batch. They will be the managers of tomorrow. They will have to manage properly the 3P’s: Profit/People/Planet. I am convinced that NSB will give them the abilities, skills and competencies to succeed in our globalized world.
Happy at my son’s turnaround at NSB
My son PVSS Satyananth was just out of his completing Engineering in the Mechanical stream in 2013, and his body language was clear that Engineering ( 58 % ) was not his calling . My grave ill health in 2012 seemed to have affected him in his pursuits. He requested, if he could try his hand in MBA . He seemed keen to make a final kill ,but we as parents were not keen that he do this course in Hyderabad, as I could not stand his laid back attitude and general disarry of doing things. A similar situation had arisen in his school days and I shifted him to a hostel based school for his 10th class (78%), just outside Hyderabad. He clicked by putting his head down to academics and later later performed well scoring 76 % in Intermediate. Though Satyananth had the inherent talent of grasp , he faltered at the decisive moment with his overconfidence. As such, he chose, net surfing – NSB as his mother and I were keen that he put his head down for one final burst of education for a gateway to the job market. My wife Satyavani, a teacher at Kendriya Vidyalaya was impressed of the National School of Business ideals, the day she went to join Satyananth on 15-08-13. I had told Satyananth that my recommendation was least expected and his academic testimonials should speak for themselves to the demands of the job market. His attitudinal change and his outlook have changed during his stay at National School of Business , as much as his discipline. We as parents are happy at his turnaround at NSB Bengaluru for he has known the true realm of the increasing demands of the CTC driven job market in the recession period and we thank the Faculty and Mr S.R. Sridharamurthy from the bottom of our heart for the care and correction they took.
I was impressed by the amount of knowledge possessed by each professor at National School of Business. I approached them only after receiving good feedback about the college from the people I knew. Looking back I think it was just the right choice made.
I stayed in Bangalore for a couple of days and found National School of Business different from others. Its faculty members are sincere and devoted to their task. I met Prof. S.R Sridharamurthy, Principal Director, and found him to be a transparent person.
I feel proud today that my daughter has secured a place in your Institute. The benefits offered by National School of Business such as exchange program and global mindset trail are not offered by any other school at such an affordable fee. The school has all the latest gadgetry and excellent faculty members. I really appreciate the team of National School of Business for the devotion and dedication they have towards setting new benchmarks in management education.
We were searching for a good B-School. We came across many Bschools but were not satisfied with any of them. When we met the management of National School of Business, we were impressed by the quality of education provided by them and their transparent nature. They provide opportunity for students to partake in student exchange program and global mindset trail.
Mail sent to NSB family by Mr. Chaitanya Nandkumar Bhusare MBA – 2014-16 Batch student.
Respected Sir, all the faculties and non-staff members of NSB,
Warm Greetings! Hope this mail finds all of you happy. Today after my office I went through some of my MBA college notes that I used to make in the lectures, after lectures, one on one discussions with the professors or anything that gets me going through the journey of my college days.
As I was going through my notes I found learnings given by all the professors, here are few that I followed honestly in my corporate life;
- “Feature tells, benefit sells”
- “Customers want VALUES from you”
- “World is a MARKET PLACE”
- “Change on a daily basis: If you continue to do the things what you are doing, you will continue to get the things what you were getting”
- “Meaningful Effort (ME) equals Meaningful Results (MR)”
- “Business of Business is a BUSINESS”
- “Profit = Total Revenue – Total Cost”
- “Business Minds and Parachutes should always be open”
- “Don’t teach the limitations, teach possibilities”
- “Don’t bother about resources, be resourceful”
- “Let people be the pursuits of happiness, you be the pursuit of perfection”
And I can just go on and on and on. My learnings from NSB are immense and I’m very happy to extend my gratitude towards my NSB family for giving me the knowledge pool, skill sets and attitude towards the business world.
You might be wondering why I’m writing all of this to you. Well yesterday (i.e. 25th April, 2017) I completed one year of my corporate life and I want to thanks to those people who were directly and indirectly associated with me on my MBA journey.
My message to all the present students of NSB is “Always carry the right intent to help and empower people around you. Pure intent to help others will return to you like a boomerang. Be Responsible”
Thanks and Regards,
Chaitanya Nandkumar Bhusare
A Proud NSBian
A home away from home
The school encourages team work and the small, intimate classes give us the opportunity to get to know each other. Teachers are always engaged and are passionate about their field. They bring relevant materials to the class and challenge us every day.
Best choice made
NSB is the best choice I have made in my life. The IMBA program of NSB is rigorous, interesting and challenging and gives a holistic perspective of two great countries – India and France. I am sure strong foundation and intense learning at NSB will help me for the rest of my career.
There was SO MUCH packed in two years
Looking back after two meaningful years at National School of Business, I realized the magnitude of the program. Besides basic curricula, the program was packed with several innovative features and together they have added a great meaning to my experience and empowered me to stride into the outside world with great confidence.
My experience with NSB has been fantastic. It has been learning with fun and adventure all the way. The faculty members are young and lovely and this keeps us enthusiastic every second. We learnt to recognize value of time at NSB.
Lucky to be here
I am lucky to be here. From receptionist to Dean, everyone knows my name and welcomes me with a smile. Others hear about wonderful schools, here I am experiencing it every day. The rainbow of wisdom showered upon me has been unlike anything I have ever known. NSB helped me chart my road map.
NSB is wonderful
Mae West said, ‘ Too much of a good thing can be wonderful,’ that is what I felt here in this college. Too much of NSB proved exquisitely and exceptionally wonderful for me. At NSB, I felt like creative liberated. This college protected the flickers of curiosity, enthusiasm, and inventiveness and never smothered them in the eagerness to teach or to impress. I as a student was always challenged to go beyond my boundaries each time to establish a new milestone in the timeline of my career.
Has an understanding management
I am very lucky to be studying at National School of Business. It has a beautiful environment and an understanding management. The faculty members are great and with their help and guidance I was able to get placed in a company named Jairo in Bangalore. NSB is truly a global school. The motivation and encouragement, which I received at NSB has made great contribution to my career. Its corporate relation cell has helped me a lot in mentoring my project, guiding my career, improving my management and communication skills.
Orientation is great
The 15-day orientation classes were really great. They helped me realize my potential and set my career goals. I have also got the opportunity to interact and live with people from different parts of the country. It has been a great journey so far.
